DTF Heat Transfer Film (Standard Series)
PRODUCT CODE: JL-F604S / JL-F604S-D
DTF heat transfer film with a multi-layer precision ink-absorbing release coating, compatible with DTF pigment ink and medium/fine TPU hot melt powder.
01 / Product Overview
Our DTF Heat Transfer Film features industry-leading nano-microporous coating technology, specifically engineered for the modern no-cut, no-weed digital printing process. Combining physical release and chemical absorption mechanisms, it handles high ink loads without bleeding or pooling while ensuring strong adhesion to hot melt powder. With a smooth, clean finish, it is suitable for cotton, polyester, blends, leather, and more - making it the ideal consumable for both personalized customization and mass production.
High-capacity absorption supports high-resolution printing, minimal dot gain, sharp lines, and 100% color restoration for vibrant, saturated patterns.
Stable release force and anti-static treatment support smooth feeding and peeling with zero background residue on the fabric.
Transferred patterns have elasticity and stretch recovery and are described as breathable and durable without the heavy plastic feel of traditional vinyl.
02 / Technical Overview
Use these values as a starting point and verify final settings on the target printer, powder, fabric and heat press.
03 / Process Window
Record the final printer, curing and pressing parameters after testing the complete material combination.
Recommended room temperature is 20-25 C (68-77 F) with 45%-65% relative humidity.
Set the oven/dryer temperature to 120-130 C and bake for 2-3 minutes until the powder melts completely into a uniform, glossy surface.
Set the heat press temperature to 160 C. Apply medium-to-high pressure (4-5 kg) for 10-15 seconds.
Cold peel: wait until completely cooled before peeling diagonally at a steady speed. Hot peel: peel immediately after pressing. A second press for 5-8 seconds using a Teflon sheet is highly recommended.
Store unused film in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal packaging immediately after use to prevent moisture absorption.
04 / Applications
Widely used for personalized T-shirts, hoodies, sportswear, team uniforms, canvas bags, caps, footwear, denim, luggage, and garment labels/logos.
